UpStage Theatre Youth Program teaches acting and performance skills and prepares students to perform on stage for large audiences. Students tackle the challenge of bringing the characters to life in a supportive, dynamic setting and revel in the camaraderie of the group. The Youth Theatre Program will provide workshops for performing opportunities for our youngest performer, while introducing skills in character and scene development. Students will build and strengthen skills key to successful acting such as observation, memorization, listening, focus and imagination in a creative and stimulating environment. Performances will include scene work from children's literature as well as the student's original works. Puppetry along with set and prop design will add to the fun.
